Overview of the Verigene^® Processor

General description:

• Bench top, free-standing instrument with four independent sample processing modules.
• Minimal moving parts so very low maintenance requirements.

Core functions of the Processor:

• Re-scanning of Test Cartridge barcodes to maintain positive identification of samples and to direct Test processing procedures.
• Facilitation (movement) of all the wet chemistry that occurs inside a Test Cartridge.
• With a prepared sample, the Verigene^® Processor completes a test in approximately 45 to 90 minutes and requires less than 20 minutes of technician hands on time.

Functionality:

• Front panel LED displays on each module indicate Test processing status.
  • The same information is communicated and displayed real-time on the Reader.
• Up to 8 Processor units can be linked to a single Reader unit.
• For conservation of bench space, up to 3 Processor units can be stacked atop one another.
